AWARDS FOR THE DESERVING
        Several Awards were presented at our recent three-way Grand Chapter - Grand Council - Grand Commandery Annual Sessions held on May 12, 2007 in Portsmouth. Your Editor was able to capture three of these presentations for your viewing pleasure.

Ish Sodi Awards were presented to Companions Robert G. Hatfield (left), RW Deputy Grand Master of the MW Grand Lodge of NH, and Robert D. Steel (right), ME Grand High Priest of the Grand Chapter Royal Arch Masons of NH. The presentations were made by MI Companion Dennis A. Sheridan, center, MI Grand Master of the Grand Council Cryptic Masons of NH. In the top left corner of the photo we find our then MW Grand Master of the MW Grand Lodge of NH, MW Brother David J. Lamprey, Sr., who would soon pass the mantle of Most Worshipful Grand Master to RW Brother Hatfield a short 7 days hence, on May 21, 2007. Also shown at the head table is MW Brother Lamprey's lady Joanne, ME Companion Steel's Lady Catherine, and our special guest Lady Geri Dean, widow of ME Companion David A. Dean, MEPGHP (1988).

The Knights Templar Commander of the Temple award was presented to Sir Knight William F. Curtis, REPGC (2004), center, with his Lady Marci at his side holding the regalia of the award. Also shown (from left) is RE Sir Knight Nathaniel H. Sawyer, REGC of the Grand Commandery of NH, RE Sir Knight Charles J. Kennedy, REPGC (1994) making the presentation, and RE Sir Knight John M. Lewis, RE Northeast Department Commander of the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar of the USA.

The Knights Templar Cross of Honor was presented to Sir Knight Raymond T. Robb, center, with his Lady Ginnie at his side. Also shown (from left) is RE Sir Knight Sawyer, RE Sir Knight Lewis, and RE Sir Knight Robert L. Sutherland, Jr., REPGC (1996), Grand Marshal for the presentation.
