Reverend Robert J. Cave was born January 24, 1933. He is married to Lois and has two sons and four grandchildren.
Sir Knight Cave received his B.A. Degree from Long Island University in New York, his Master of Divinity from the Theological School of Drew University, Madison, New Jersey, and his Master of Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton, New Jersey.
Sir Knight Cave is a retired minister of the United Methodist Church. He resides in Ridge, New York.
He was Raised in Connecticut Rock Lodge No. 92, New Haven,Connecticut; is a Past Master of
Consolidated Lodge No. 31, is a member of Willard-Sylvan Grove Lodge, and is Grand Chaplain Emeritus of the Grand Lodge, F. & A.M., of New York. In the York Rite he is a Past High Priest of Phoenix Chapter No. 2, Royal Arch Masons; Grand Chaplain, the Grand Chapter State of New York, R.A.M.; Past Illustrious Master,Adoniram Council No. 36, Cryptic Masons; and Past Grand Chaplain, Grand Council of Cryptic Masons of the State of New York. In Chivalric Masonry, he is a Past Commander, Columbian Commandery No. 1; Past Grand Prelate of the Grand Commandery, Knights Templar of New York; R.E. Past Grand Commander, Knights Templar of New York; Grand Recorder, Grand Commandery of New York; and a holder of the Knight Commander of the Temple award of the Grand Encampment. He was Chairman of the Knights Templar Committee on Religious Activities of the Grand Encampment. He is the Right Eminent Grand Prelate of the Grand Encampment, Knights Templar of the United States of America.
