Kenneth Bernard Fischer was born August 13, 1937, in Houston, Texas. He graduated from the University of Houston rece1vmg a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1960.
He married Arlene M. Martin, and they have five children; Ken Jr., Kristian, Amy, Wendi and Keri; and they have seven grandchildren; Samantha, Alexa, Andrew, Cameron, Triston, Clare and Meridian.
Kenneth and Arlene reside in Friendswood , Texas, and are mem bers of Friendswood United Methodist Church. He is retired from Hoechst-Celanese, as Corporate Rotating Equipment Consultant after thirty-two years.
His professional and civic activities include registered-professional engi neering, Texas (36 years); member, American Society of Mechanical Engineers; active member Turbo­ machinery Symposium, Texas A & M; Pump Symposium, Texas A & M; Vibration Institute; Amateur Radio Operator, W5KBF; and Amateur Radio Emergency Service.

Kenneth Fischer was elected and installed Right Eminent Grand Captain General of the Grand Encampment in Denver, Colorado, in August 1994. He was elected Right Eminent Grand Generalissimo of the Grand Encampment on August 12, 1997 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was elected Right Eminent Deputy Grand Master on August 15, 2000, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was installed as Most Eminent Grand Master on August 20, 2003, in St. Louis, Missouri.
