    SK John D. Barnes
    R.E. DEPARTMENT COMMANDER
    NORTHEASTERN DEPTARTMENT, CT, ME, MA/RI, NH, NJ, NY, PA, and VT
    John D. Barnes is a native of New Jersey, as is his wife, Lady Cynthia. They have been married for over thirty-five years. He has served as president and treasurer of his church, and he and Lady Cyndi enjoy travel and photography. He spent over thirty-five years in the pension industry, retiring in 2008.
    He was raised in 1972, and served three terms as worshipful master. He served his Grand Lodge as district ritual instructor for five terms. He was exalted in 1978, and served as high priest for five terms. He served as grand marshal in 1998, grand high priest in 2004, grand lecturer in 2014 and 2015, and grand treasurer 2016-2019. He earned the General Grand Chapter Ritual Jewel in 2011, the Ephraim Kirby Award in 2015, and the Distinguished Service Medal in Silver in 2020.
    He was greeted in 1984, and served as thrice illustrious master in 2008. He served as grand chaplain in 2008. He assumed the duties of grand master in 2011, upon the death of the sitting Most illustrious grand master, serving as grand master in 2012. He has been serving as grand treasurer since 2013. He was awarded the Order of the Secret Vault and the Columbian Medal in 2017 and was appointed Dean of the Order of the Secret Vaul College for New Jersey in 2018.
    He was knighted in 1986, and served as commander for three terms. He served as grand warder in 1995. He was designated a knight commander of the temple in 2011. He served as grand commander in 2014, as advisor to the right eminent grand commander in 2015, and secretary to the right eminent grand commander in 2016 and 2018. He was appointed to Grand Encampment’s Publicity Committee in 2015 and as state coordinator in 2018.
    John has written or co-authored grand officers manuals for three grand bodies, restated two grand constitutions, written numerous observations and presentations, been published in several Masonic magazines, and recently completed a dais officers’ manual. He is a past presiding officer or treasurer of several appendant bodies in New Jersey.

    SK James B. Steele
    R.E. DEPARTMENT COMMANDER
    MID-ATLANTIC DEPARTMENT, DE, DC, MD, NC, VA, and WV
    Sir Knight James B. Steele was born on September 22, 1960, in Hagerstown, Maryland, which is located on the Mason Dixon line. His mother always told him he could go either way. He is the son of the late Roy Sanford Steele and Lillian Katherine Biggs Steele. He moved to Wilmington, North Carolina, in 1968 where he spent the majority of his life and attended New Hanover High School. James began his career in. the electrical business in 1978 and became an electrical contractor in 1983. Currently, he is the president of Steele Electrical Contractors, LLC located in Castle Hayne, North Carolina, and licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.
    He also owns and operates an organic egg farm. James and his wife, Shirley, were married on December 21, 1996. They have four children and one grandson. The Steele Family has attended Wesleyan Chapel Methodist Church since 1989 where James serves as an usher and chair on various committees.
    James began his Masonic career in 2000; he was initiated, passed, and raised in Wilmington Lodge 319. He served as commander of Plantagenet Commandery 1 in 2007, District 2 district commander in 2008, and as grand commander of North Carolina in 2016-2017. He was designated a knight commander of the temple in 2014, and currently is the scribe of SENCiand Council 42 Knight Masons. He is a member of several other Masonic bodies and a member of the Grand Masters Club. James was instrumental in establishing the North Carolina Drill Team in 2011. In 2012, the North Carolina Drill Team, participated for the first time on record at the 65th Triennial in Alexandria, Virginia, and again in 2015 in Buffalo, New York. In 2009, James started the annual Wilmington York Rite Oyster Roast Fund raiser and has served as chair for the last ten years.
    James’ hobbies and interests include raising wild waterfowl, antique cars,model trains, and collecting petroleum memorabilia. He is a life member of the International Wild Waterfowl Society, and the American Pheasant and Waterfowl Society. He is also a member of the Antique Automotive Club of America and the Model T Ford Club International, Inc. James enjoys collecting gemstones and rocks and photography in his spare time.

    SK Robert W. Waldron, Sr.

    Born on January 8, 1950 to Fred and Mary Waldron the second of 5 sons. Married Joan Adcock in 1970 and they have two son, Bobby wife Merissa and Jason wife Kris. They have 5 Grand Children Adrien, Zaelyn, Carter, Elliot and Penny.
    Attended the Public schools of Rutherford County Tennessee, graduating from Smyrna High school in 1968.
    Graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BS in Civil Engineering in 1972.
    Raised as Master Mason in Sam Davis Lodge 661 on October 16 1973, Past Master 1978; Charter member and Past Master Conlegium Ritus Austeri Lodge 779; Charter and life Member Tennessee Lodge of Research; Chairman of the Building Committee Grand Lodge of Tennessee 2012-2021; Grand Representative to the Grand Lodge of Ireland; Serving as Deputy Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Tennessee.

    SK Martin R. Trent
    R.E. DEPARTMENT COMMANDER
    EAST CENTRAL DEPARTMENT, IN, IL, KY, MI, and OH
    Sir Knight Trent was born in Dayton, Ohio and later moved to Mt. Vernon, Ohio where he graduated from high school. He was awarded Bachelor's Degrees in Business Administration and Philosophy from Wittenberg University and he also holds a Master's Degree from the Air Force Institute of Technology. He has been employed by the U.S. Air Force for more than 30 years and is a Senior Manager in Procurement. He married his high school sweetheart, Bonita, in 1989 and they have 3 grown children (Zeb, Anna, and Katie). He is a member of the First Lutheran Church of Springfield. In addition to his fraternal pursuits, he enjoys reading, walking, movies, traveling, playing cards, and golf.
    Sir Knight Trent was raised in St. Andrew's Lodge No. 619 in 1992, served as Worshipful Master in 1997, and has been Secretary since 1997. He also served the Grand Lodge of Ohio as a District Deputy Grand Master in 2001-2003. He is a Past Sovereign Prince of Miami Council, Princes of Jerusalem, in the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton and was coroneted a 33rd Degree Mason in Washington, D.C. in 2013. He is active in the Springfield and Urbana York Rite bodies and is a Knight York Grand Cross of Honour, a Companion of the Secret Vault, and a Knight Commander of the Temple. He served the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of Ohio as its Grand Commander in 2018-2019.
    Sir Knight Trent is also a member of the Tall Cedars, Eastern Star, Shrine, Allied Masonic Degrees, Order of Athelstan, Commemorative Order of St. Thomas of Acon, Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Priests, Red Cross of Constantine, and the Societas Rosicruciana in Civitatibus Foederatis. He has been a DeMolay Advisor and is a recipient of the DeMolay Legion of Honor. Sir Knight Trent is also active in the York Rite College and has received the Order of the Purple Cross. He holds national level offices in the Royal Order of Scotland and the Supreme Council MOVPER (Grotto) and served as the Most Excellent Great Chief of Knight Masons of the USA for 2021-2022.

    David M. Dryer
    R.E. DEPARTMENT COMMANDER
    NORTH CENTRAL DEPARTMENT,IA, MN, NE, ND, SD, and WI
    Sir Knight David Michael Dryer was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa 20 February 1948. His educational background is a BA Degree from the University of Iowa and Juris Doctorate Degree from Drake University. He began his legal career as Assistant Attorney General for the State of Iowa, then Assistant Warren County Attorney and subsequently opened the Dryer Law firm in Indianola, Iowa, specializing in real estate law. Dryer is a Lecturer on the faculty of Simpson College and was elected for one term as Alternate District Associate Judge.
    He received an ROTC commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U. S. Army and served as Platoon Leader, Aide de Camp, Company Commander, numerous staff positions and as instructor of the Officer Advance Course and the Command & General Staff Officer Course. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after 23 years of military service (primarily in the U. S. Army Reserves).
    Sir Knight Dryer married Cynthia L. Koester in 1970. They have two children and four grandchildren.
    Brother David took his Symbolic Lodge Degrees in 1978, and served the Grand Lodge of Iowa as Grand Marshal in 2014. He joined the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite in 1999, was invested a Knight Commander Court of Honor in 2003 and was coroneted a 33rd Degree Inspector General Honorary in 2009.
    Sir Knight Dryer was Exalted, Greeted and Knighted in 1999. He served as Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery of Iowa in 2008-09, and North Central Department Commander in 2009-12. He is serving as Chief Adept of Iowa Societas Rosicruciana. He has received the Knight Templar Cross of Honor, Knight York Grand Cross of Honor, Knight Grand Cross of the Temple and is a Regent in the York Rite Sovereign College of North America.
    Sir Knight David Dryer was appointed to serve as the North Central Department Commander by Most Eminent Grand Master Michael B. Johnson, GCT, and was installed at the 68th Triennial on 8-18-21.

    SK Robert M. Loflin
    R.E. DEPARTMENT COMMANDER
    SOUTH CENTRAL DEPARTMENT, AR, KS, LA, MO, OK, and TX
    Robert Milton Loflin was born 28 January 1969, in Lancaster, California. Robert began his Masonic journey in 1997. He is a member of the Sam Houston Hall of Fame and serves as a Director of the Masonic Grand Lodge Library and Museum Broad. He currently serves as the Right Excellent Grand King of the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Texas. He served as the Grand Commander of Knights Templar in Texas from 2014-2015. He is a member of the York Rite College and recipient of the Gold Honor Award and the Order of the Purple Cross. Further, he is a member of Red Cross of Constantine, HRAKTP, KYCH, National Sojourners, Heroes of '76, Operatives, Allied Masonic Degrees, Knight Masons, and Eastern Star.
    S.K. Robert was appointed & installed as the department commander for the South Central Department at the 68th Triennial Conclave of the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar of the United States of America on August 18, 2021.

    SK Jeremy C.Vaughn
    R.E. DEPARTMENT COMMANDER NORTHWESTERN DEPARTMENT, AK, CO, ID, MT, OR, WA, and WY
    Sir Knight Jeremy Vaughn was born on August 2, 1980. While in high school, he met and wooed Amanda, a past honored queen of Bethel 39, Job's Daughters. After they both graduated from the University of Idaho, they were married. SK Vaughn later graduated from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary in Virginia and returned to Idaho. Today, Jeremy practices law in Twin Falls, while Amanda teaches at Jerome High School.
    Brother Vaughn was raised February 3, 2007 in Caribou Lodge 84 in Soda Springs, Idaho. A short time later, he affiliated with Twin Falls Lodge 45, where he has served as Master twice. He is also a Past Master of Idaho Lodge of Research 1965 and Idaho City Historic Lodge 1863. Brother Vaughn was Grand Orator in 2009-2010 and was DDGM of the 4th District.
    Companion Vaughn is a PHP of King Solomon Chapter, Royal Arch Masons, PIM of Twin Falls Council, Cryptic Masons, and PC of Twin Falls Commandery. He served as Illustrious Grand Master of Cryptic Masons of Idaho (2019-2020), Grand Commander (2020-2021), and Grand High Priest of Royal Arch Masons (2021-2022). He is also a member of the Pocatello Valley of the Scottish Rite.
    Jeremy is a member of several Masonic organizations, including Star Garnet Council, AMD (Charter Master); Intermountain Chapel, St. Thomas of Acon (Provincial Grand Secretary); Idaho Priory, KYCH (Past Prior); El Korah Shrine; Tacobat Grotto; Redemption Tabernacle, HRAKTP (officer); Idaho College, SRICF (IX° and Charter Secretary); Tri-Valley York Rite College (past governor and OPC; Chairman of the Council of Associate Regents, YRSCNA); St. Michael Conclave, RCC; and others.
    Jeremy and Amanda are members of Twin Falls Chapter 29, OES and Garnet Court 5, Amaranth. Jeremy is a Past Associate Guardian of Bethel 43, Jobs Daughters, and was Associate Grand Guardian of Idaho for 2013-2014.
    Outside of Masonry, Jeremy has been active with the Boy Scouts, enjoys barbecue and grilling, and plays the worst game of golf you have ever seen

    SK Timothy J. Robertson
    SOUTHWESTERN DEPARTMENT, AZ, CA, HI, NV, NM, and UT
    Sir Knight "TJ" was born and raised on the Robertson Family Ranch in Price Utah. He attended technical school in Phoenix, Arizona, and was a Heavy Truck Technician for Peterbilt of Utah, in Salt Lake City, where he later was Maintenance Shop Supervisor.
    TJ was employed with The Utah, Division of Wildlife Resources where he was the Assistant Manager, of a shooting range in Salt Lake City. TJ has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration, from The University of Phoenix. TJ became a Wildlife Conservation Officer with The State of Utah, and was stationed in Moab, and Price.
    Sir Knight TJ is currently a Sergeant for The Price City Police Department. TJ is the Use of Force and Defensive Tactics Coordinator for Utah State University, Peace Officer Academy.
    TJ served as Master Councilor of Castle Valley Chapter, Order of DeMolay.
    Sir Knight TJ was Raised in Carbon Lodge No. 16, Price Utah. Joined Price Chapter No. 6, Royal Arch Masons, Solomon Council No. 4, Cryptic Masons, and Charles Fred Jennings No. 6, Knights Templar, where he has served as High Priest, Illustrious Master, and Eminent Commander, currently serving as Secretary/Recorder for those bodies. TJ served as Worshipful Master of La Sal Lodge No. 30 in Moab.
    Sir Knight TJ had a unique experience within The Grand Commandery of Utah, where he followed his father through the Grand Commandery Officers line. Sir Knight TJ Served as Grand Commander in 2015. Illustrious Grand Master in 2016, and as Grand High Priest in 2017. He served as The Grand Treasurer for the 3 Grand York Rite Bodies in Utah. Sir Knight TJ served the Grand Lodge of Utah as an appointed officer, as well as District Deputy Lecturer.
    Sir Knight TJ is a member of Camp Floyd College No. 190, YRSCNA, Behle - Simons Council No. 544, Allied Masonic Degrees, Bonneville Conclave, Red Cross of Constantine, and Utah Priory No. 57, KYCH. TJ served as Very Eminent Preceptor of Petra Tabernacle No. LXI, HRAKTP.
    TJ resides on the family ranch in Price, Utah with his Lady Jen, and children; Tess and Bridger.

    SK Dustin Verity
    R.E. DEPARTMENT COMMANDER, ASIA - PACIFIC
    Dustin Verity was born July 26, 1972, in Kalispell, Montana. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with Graduate Certificates in Data Analysis and entrepreneurship from MIT and Babson College, respectively. He serves as the Managing Partner of Verity CPAs, a top fifteen certified public accounting firm in Hawaii that he founded in 2012.
    Dustin began his Masonic journey in 2005, and has served as worshipful master of Ko’olau Lodge F. & A. M., three times, high priest of Kalakaua Chapter 2 of Royal Arch Masons, thrice illustrious master of Kalakaua Council 2 of Cryptic Masons, and commander of Kalakaua Commandery 2 of Knights Templar. He then went on to serve as grand high priest, grand illustrious master, and grand commander of Hawaii. He has also served as the governor of Hawaii York Rite Sovereign College 164 and currently serves as the prior of Honolulu Knight of the York Cross of Honour, chief adept IX° of the Hawaii College SRICF, treasurer of Shriners’ Hospital, Honolulu, and senior grand warden of the Grand Lodge of Hawaii.
    He is also a Scottish Rite 32° Knight Commander Court of Honour, a member of the Red Cross of Constantine, National Sojourners, and Heroes of ‘76.
    Dustin served honorably in the United States Marine Corps for eight years from 1990 to 1998 serving in such units as the 3rd Surveillance Reconnaissance Intelligence Group in Okinawa, Japan, and MCAS El Toro in Orange County California.
    He is recreational triathlete and homebrewer and enjoys ocean swims, long bike rides, and scuba diving.
    Dustin is married to his lovely wife, Alice, with whom he shares two sons, Kane and Josiah, who have graduated and who are looking forward to moving out of the house.
    Dustin was installed as the department commander for the Asia-Pacific Department during the 68 th Triennial Conclave of the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar of the United States of America on August 18, 2021.

    SK Joaquim Pinto Coelho
    R.E. DEPARTMENT COMMANDER, EUROPE - AFRICA
    SK Sir Knight Joaquim José Vieira Pinto Coelho was born July 19, 1950, in Algarve, Portugal and married Lilian del Carmen in 1975. He is an educator, researcher, and human resource management consultant and holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the Université de Metz (France). He has been a professor of quantitative methods (1974-2017), a part of the Vocational Training European Network as CEO in Brussels, a General Director of a vocational training institute and of the Department of Labor in Lisbon, and an advisor to the Secretary of State for Vocational Training, and the Ministry of Labor. It is currently retired He is a member of Mercúrio Lodge in Portugal, and North Pole Lodge in Alaska, and was a founder of several Lodges. He was Past Master of Acácia Lodge and Ad-hoc Assistant of the Grand Master for Macao. He is Honorary Grand Master of the Regular Grand Loge of Portugal, and a Grand Officer and a Grand Cross of Gen. Gomes Freire de Andrade Order for outstanding service.
    He is a member of Mosteiro de Alcobaça Chapter, Past High Priest of Mosteiro dos Jerónimos Chapter and of the Anointed High Priests of Germany and Belgium. He is a Past Grand High Priest of Portugal (founder), an honorary member of the Grand Chapter of Germany and of the Grand Chapter of Romania and served as Second Grand Surveillant d'Honneur of the GL de Marque, France. He served as Illustrious Master of Mosteiro Flor da Rosa Council, Trice Illustrious Master of the Grand Council of Germany, and M. Illustrious Grand Master of the Grand Council of Portugal (Founder) and received the Jeremy Cross Award from Brazil and the Columbian award of the G.G.C.C.M.International.
    Sir Knight Coelho was knighted in Harry Miller Commandery in Germany, served as Commander of Henrique o Navegador Commandery and Grand Commander of Portugal (Founder). He is a member of Tabernacle A of the HRAKTP, a founder of Knight Preceptor in France, a member of Saint-Louis-en France of the Red Cross of Constantine in Paris, Puissant Souverain of Henrique de Bourgogne, Grand Chambelain, Grand Pérfect and Grand Inspector du Grand Conclave pour la France, and Chevalier Commander de Constantin.
    In the Scottish Rite he is a 33rd member. He is Past Sovereign Master of the AMD, Supreme Ruler of the Secret Monitor, Knight Masons, W. Commander Noah of the Royal Ark Mariners, Honorary Member Fayette Council, and Commander of Knights Occidental. In the KYCH, he is a member of Prieuré "France" with 3 quadrants and is a member of the Royal Order of Scotland.
    Sir Knight Coelho coordinated and translated the York Rite Bodies' rituals into Portuguese and introduced Cryptic Masonry, Knights Templar, Shrine, Red Cross of Constantine, HRAKTP and the Societas Rosicrucian into Portugal and Cryptic Masonry into Brazil in 2000.
    Since 2002, he is the Supreme Magus of the Societas Rosicruciana in Lusitania and Honorary of the MSRCF, KGC.
    He has written several articles for different Masonic Portuguese magazines and other publications. Since 1998.
    S.K Joaquim has already served as Department Commander for Europe during 2009-2012.
    Joaquim was appointed & installed as the department commander for the Europe-Africa Department at the 68th Triennial Conclave of the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar of the United States of America on August 18, 2021.

    SK Sidney J. Leluan
    R.E. DEPARTMENT COMMANDER, LATIN AMERICA
    SK Sid Leluan III - KCT-KYGCH was born to Sidney Jr and Patricia Leluan on 5 July 1959 at Ernest Harmon AFB in Stephenville, NF, Canada. He is a graduate of Salpointe Catholic High Scholl in 1977 and attended the University of Arizona. He is married to Debbie and they collectively have 4 sons and two granddaughters, so far.
    Sid travelled the world, not only as a dependent child in the Air Force to foreign lands but also for his deep love and passion for Masonic Rites. He never interferes with the local custom nor does he try to impose the "American" way of doing things. "the local customs must be observed and respected while a guest in a foreign country", he says. Sid has a reasonable command of the Spanish language. He is very widely respected in the Latin and South American Countries where he shall serve the Grand Encampment as a co-Department Commander with his dear friend Dick Butterfield, for the Caribbean, Latin and South American countries. The largest contiguous region of the Grand Encampment.
    Sid began his journey in Masonry in Marion McDaniel Lodge No. 56 "The Duke's Lodge" in 1981 when he was initiated, passed and raised along side his father, Sid Jr. He became it's 26th Master in 1986. He joined Adobe Lodge No. 41 in 1988 and became Master there in 1992. He joined the Scottish Rite (KCCH 2007 and serves as Director General of Ritual and Ceremonies) and Shrine (Serves as parliamentarian) in 1981 and York Rite in 1982. He has served his constituent Tucson York Rite bodies as well as being Grand High Priest (2009), Illustrious Grand Master (2013) and Grand Commander of Arizona (2014). He is a recipient of many awards and accolades which modesty prohibit listing here. He is a Past Patron of his Eastern Star Chapter, Past International President of the Association of High Twelve Clubs, Past Grand Governor of Arizona, York Rite Sovereign College of No. America, Past Prior - Arizona Priory KYCH, 9th Grade SRICF, 6th Grade - The Operatives, Past President So. AZ Chapter National Sojourners, Past Sovereign - Kachina Council AMD, Excellent Chief of Great Chief's Council No 0 Knight Masons, Past Monarch (2013-16) - Altan Kol Grotto.

    SK Sidney was appointed & installed as the department commander for the Latin America Department at the 68th Triennial Conclave of the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar of the United States of America on August 18, 2021.
