    SK William F. Reinhold
    R.E. DEPARTMENT COMMANDER
MID-ATLANTIC DEPARTMENT, DE, DC, MD, NC, VA, and WV
Sir Knight William F. "Bill" Reinhold was born in New York City on Independence Day in 1951. He was baptized in St. John's Episcopal Church which, prior to completion of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge in 1964, was right across from the Parade Field and Officers' Quarters of Fort Hamilton. General Robert E. Lee, as a Captain serving as Post Engineer at Fort Hamilton from 1841 to 1846, was a Vestryman of the Church. General Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson, as a Major while stationed at Fort Hamilton with his regiment from 1848 to 1850, was baptized at the Church on 29 April 1849. General Mathew B. Ridgeway, NATO Commander, was baptized at that Church in 1899. Due to these and a long history of other Flag Rank Officers attending Sunday worship services the Church was known as the "The Church of the Generals" prior to its closing in 2014.
Sir Knight Reinhold did not have the opportunity to know either of his grandfathers, both Master Masons, because they were deceased prior to his birth. His dad, a senior DeMolay, died about six months before Bill's tenth birthday. It was in the Church's Parish Hall on a Sunday morning about five years after his father's passing, where his mother, a member of the Order of Eastern Star until she died in 2009, prompted him to ask the nearby older boys about something called DeMolay. His Initiatory Degree was on the 22nd Anniversary of D-Day in Theodore Roosevelt Chapter at the Bay Ridge Masonic Temple, Brooklyn, NY. He enjoyed DeMolay and served his Chapter as Master Councilor. Years later, in the mid-1990s for his service to DeMolay, he was made a Chevalier in the Order of DeMolay. During this time his three sons became members of the Order of DeMolay. In 2000 his mother would have the pleasure to assist in Bill's investiture ceremony making him an active member of the DeMolay Legion of Honor for life.
Sir Knight Reinhold married the former Dolores Helms Whittemore on 21 December 2005 in the Charlottesville Masonic Temple during an open meeting of Charlottesville Commandery No. 3. The marriage ceremony was conducted by the late Sir Knight H. Arthur Dechent, Eminent Grand Prelate Emeritus, Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of Virginia. Lady Dolores is a Past Worthy President of Fredericksburg Assembly No. 266, Social Order of the Beauceant. She was honored for distinguished services to Templary by being presented the Companion of the Temple award on 03 May 2014. Lady Dolores served as Supreme Director of Music for the Supreme Assembly, Social Order of the Beauceant, 2017-2018. Together Bill and Dolores have five adult children from previous marriages and seven grandchildren. His three sons, William, Charles, and James, are Senior DeMolay and have Life Membership in Widow's Sons' Lodge No. 60. Two of his sons are members of Commanderies in Virginia. His two grandsons are fourth generation members of the Order of DeMolay.
Sir Knight Reinhold attended public school, graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School in 1969, received a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering, Magna Cum Laude from Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn in 1973 and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in United States Army Reserve in the Chapel of Saint Cornelius the Centurion on Governor's Island in New York Harbor. He received a Master of Engineering, Electrical Engineering, from the University of Virginia in 1978. His military education includes the Engineer Officer Basic Course, Signal and Civil Affairs Officer Advanced Courses, Command and General Staff Officer Course, Army Management Staff College, Joint Staff Officer Course, and the Department of Defense Emergency Officer Preparedness Course.
The majority of Sir Knight Reinhold's military service was in the Active Reserve during the Cold War. During the last eight of twenty eight years of service, Lieutenant Colonel Reinhold served as a Joint Operations Center Watch Officer in the Current Operations Division of United States Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM). Shortly after retirement from the Active Reserve he was recalled to Active Duty after 11 September 2001 by name in a letter from the Deputy Commander in Chief, USJFCOM to serve as the Liaison Officer for the Director of Operations to the Commanding General, Joint Task Force - Olympics, Salt Lake City, Utah. His military awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.

His alias in the Single Action Shooting Society is Hollymead Kid. He and Lady Dolores attend New Journey Church in Midlothian, VA, in addition to Vespers at the Masonic Home of Virginia (MAHOVA).
